The Man in the Cellar
… he can’t escape… but then none of us can.
ENJOY THE ADVENTURE
A man hides in the darkness of a cellar with only a corpse and his past for company. The world outside is filled with monsters. Inside the cellar, the monsters are in his head. They say that the split second before death your life flashes in front of you… his worry is that he isn’t in it… he’s just an innocent bystander to his own existence.
This solo production, written and performed by Clive Holland, is a disturbing and humorous tale of despair, shame, madness and circus clowns.
The performances are try-outs of work in progress and so the audience will be invited to ask questions and feed back your thoughts about the performance, helping to take it to a full production in 2027.
